SERVICE UPGRADES BY THREE CARRIERS:

Northwest Airlines is bringing in a DC-9 to replace two daily turbo-prop planes to Minneapolis. This results in more daily seats available, and first class designation, on a bigger plane.

United Airlines has returned a B757 aircraft for its early morning flight to Denver. The larger aircraft replaces a regional jet. United now flies mainline aircraft four times daily to Denver and Chicago.

American Airlines has added two daily non-stop flights, one to Dallas and one to Chicago. The new Dallas daily non-stop departs at 9:06 am and the Chicago flight leavesat 12:47 pm. Both are 50-seat regional jets. This brings American to a total of seven daily non-stops to each city.
